As a newly engaged couple embarking on this special journey together, choosing the right photo/video team is one of the most important decisions you'll make. We also understand that photography and cinematography is an investment in capturing memories that will last forever, and we want to be there to capture every precious moment.
Our small, local team of experienced photographers and videographers are passionate about providing an elevated and personal experience while making sure to tell your unique love story through beautiful, timeless images and films.

Since every couple is unique, I believe in offering our clients a variety of options to suit their specific needs and preferences. That's why we offer both bundled and standalone photo and film collections. Our bundled photo and film collections are our most popular option since they offer incredible value for those looking for more comprehensive options. To further customize, there are several add-on options to make any collection unique to your needs.
No matter which option you choose, we'll work closely with you to ensure that your wedding photography and film perfectly captures the essence of your special day and will be treasured for generations.

Taylor Film Co. offers standalone photography or film collections, but we truly shine doing both. Our small team of creatives know how to work together effortlessly to get all the important shots which in turn helps to ensure a consistent and uniform look with your photo and film galleries. As a further incentive, when choosing both photography and film, 5% will be taken off of the grand total.

Let’s capture the pre-wedding excitement in your favorite location, practice being in front of a camera, get some print or website-worthy shots, and get to know each other.
Your wedding day will fly by and to ensure that every significant moment is captured you can add additional hours of coverage.
It may be helpful to add an additional photographer, depending on the details of your wedding day. If you're unsure, let’s discuss your details. $200/hr for additional hours.
Allow us to capture your day raw and live with 35mm negatives to hold on to for life. $100 for each additional roll.

Your wedding day will fly by and to ensure that every significant moment is captured you can add additional hours of coverage.
($200/hr, additional hrs) - It may be helpful to add an additional videographer. If there are multiple location changes, if it is a traditional long ceremony or at a traditional place of worship, or if you’d like to get candid cocktail hour coverage of your guests. If you're unsure, let’s discuss your details.
Personalize your feature film with raw life moments of your ‘home’/phone footage. Send us your curated vintage home video clips and/or modern phone videos to add heart-warming personality to your film.
Let's create a beautiful montage of you and your partner in your favorite spots (ie. at home cooking together, at the park with the dogs, going on a fun hike, etc), along with some fun Q&A sessions to enhance your feature film. For an additional $300, we can also craft a separate edit for save-the-dates or a special highlight video reveal during your wedding reception. Or you can use it as a time capsule to share with future generations.
If you want to recreate a classic documentary-style wedding video, this is the perfect option. If you add a 2nd videographer (or your collection comes with one), you can add this additional video option which includes short snippets and interviews of your guests, candid raw moments with raw audio and raw emotion. You must have a 2nd shooter added to your collection.
Capture your entire ceremony from start to finish cinematically with multiple camera angles including hi-definition synced audio and professional color grading.
An approximately 60-second power summary video perfect for sharing on social media.
Relive the tears, cheers, and chuckles of the toasts and speeches so you can remember these quickly-fleeting moments forever. This ensures that these special memories don't go un-captured. This edit includes multiple camera angles and hi-definition synced audio and professional color grading.
A video of all of the main dances (ie. first dance, parent dances, money dances, etc.) shot from 1 camera angle. If this is added in advance of the wedding day, 2 camera angles will be used. This edit is perfect for reliving those emotional and fun moments and a perfect gift for parents. Also a great option if you have any special cultural dances planned for the reception.

FAQ
To help determine the right amount of coverage, we will discuss your hopes/needs/expectations for your film during our initial consultation. Though each wedding is different, generally speaking, I recommend starting 2-3 hours before the ceremony start time and ending either 30 minutes after the dance floor opens up or until the end of the event if you are doing a grand exit that you would like captured.
Locations within 30 miles of downtown San Diego have no additional travel fees. For any distance more than 30 miles from downtown San Diego, for each team member, additional travel costs are $1/mile one-way for travel expenses unless otherwise stated. Any travel over 100 miles outside of "San Diego, California" will require either a 1-night stay hotel room (one per 2 team members) purchased by the client OR a $200 fee (per contractor) to help cover hotel costs.
Picking the music is one of my favorite parts of the creative process (in fact, I have a strong background in songwriting and music production!). Unfortunately most mainstream music isn’t available for licensing but I have awesome libraries of licensed music in any genre. After getting to know your vibe and after experiencing your wedding day, I try to match all of those elements--that being said, if there are specific genres or types of music you don’t like, let me know so I can avoid them!
01. Let's Connect
I want to hear about your story together and what is important to you on your wedding day and in your marriage. Please resume our previous email thread or start a new message. Once I receive the details of your day, we’ll set up a phone and/or video call to chat and make sure we’re a great fit. I’ll answer any questions you have and share more information about my approach and the various photo and film collections that I offer. From there, I'll create a custom proposal to ensure you have the best experience possible.
02. Make it Official
To secure your date, I ask for a 50% retainer fee and a signed contract. From there we'll continue building our connection and understanding of each other. Throughout the planning process, I will work closely with you to come up with a day-of wedding timeline that allows us to capture all the important moments while still giving you room to breathe and to have fun.
03. Go Time
When your wedding day arrives, you can fully immerse yourself in the moment and savor every second, knowing that I am thrilled to be there to document every aspect of it. Following your wedding, I will devote my time to meticulously editing and creating a photo gallery and film that will enable you to revisit your special day and your beautiful love story time and time again.
As time goes on, your photos and films are the only way you can relive and share these cherished moments.
This will be a legacy that can be passed down for generations to come.
